Why hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers such as Juvéderm, Restylane and RHA come in different firmness levels for different areas. Firmer gels lift the cheeks and jaw, and softer gels move naturally in the lips. The key advantage is that HA can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed. That makes it the most adjustable and reversible filler option.

The natural-results philosophy

Good filler is invisible. Dr. Mitra treats the face as a whole and often restores structure in the cheeks or temples instead of filling a line directly. That gives a fresher look without the overfilled appearance people fear.

Safety

Expect possible swelling, tenderness and bruising for a few days. Rare but serious risks include infection and filler blocking a blood vessel. Careful technique, anatomy knowledge and emergency protocols are part of every treatment. Fillers are not done during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Performed by Dr. Mitra Tahvildarian, AGNP-C, under the supervision of a licensed medical doctor.

What the research says

HA fillers are FDA-approved for specific areas and have decades of safety data. Results vary by product, area and metabolism, which is why longevity is a range rather than a promise.

Frequently asked questions

How long do dermal fillers last?

Most hyaluronic acid fillers last 6–18 months. Lips usually fade sooner and cheeks and jawline last longer.

Can filler be dissolved?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you don’t like the result or if there is a complication.

Will I look overdone?

Not with a conservative, whole-face plan. Dr. Mitra adds gradually and would rather you come back for a little more than leave with too much.

Is there downtime?

Most people return to normal activities the same day. Swelling or bruising, if any, usually settles within a week.

How much do fillers cost?

Cost depends on the number of syringes and the product. You’ll receive an exact quote at your consultation.
